My Story
Hello, hello, new friend!
I am so happy you are here. Welcome to my little home on the internet.
You can call me Mawar Safiya (or just Mawar or Safiya!). But when I'm on my big motorcycle... I'm Canon Rider! Hehehe, I guess I have many names for my many adventures!
This blog, "Kembara Hati Mawar Safiya", is the home for my wandering heart. "Kembara Hati" means "The Heart's Journey" in my language, Malay. Because that is what life is, right? One big, beautiful, and sometimes messy journey.
Why did I start this blog? Because I have too many stories in my head and too many postcards in my box! If I don't write them down, I think my head might pop!
So, this blog is my storybook.

Stories of a short, shy girl (that's me!) and her big, monster bike. (VROOM! VROOM!)

A Little More About Me...
People say I am a mix of two things. A quiet soul who loves a loud engine. A homebody who loves to wander far, far away. I think they are right!
- My "Day Job": I have a day job working with technology in near Malaysia's capital city. (But shhh, my dream is to retire early, maybe when I'm 40! A girl can dream, right? Hehehe.)
- My "Big Heart" Job: My heart loves to help people! I am an active volunteer with NGOs. With ASAS, I have been on humanitarian missions to places like Acheh, the Philippines, and Cambodia. With Kembara Kitchen, I help cook big meals for hungry people, side-by-side with amazing friends from all races and religions. Helping others makes my soul happy!
- My "Vroom Vroom" Life: Since 2013, I have been a proud lady biker! Riding my Kawasaki gives me a feeling of freedom like nothing else. I love riding for therapy and for charity convoys with my biker family.
- My "Healthy Home" Life: I am also passionate about health and wellness. I love sharing ways to feel beautiful and strong from the inside out. This is a big part of my journey too!
My First Steps
My journey as a writer did not start here. It began in an old "house" that I love very much, my very first digital diary. Even though I have lost the key to that house, the memories are always in my heart. If you want to see where my first steps were, you can visit my First Blog: Mawarjelly.
