Hello, hello, new friend!

I am so happy you are here. Welcome to my little home on the internet.

My name is Mawar Safiya (you can call me Mawar or Safiya!). But when I'm on my big, noisy motorcycle... I'm Canon Rider! Hehehe, I guess I have many names.

This blog, "Kembara Hati Safiya", is the home for my wandering heart. "Kembara Hati" means "The Heart's Journey" in my language, Malay. Because that is what life is, right? One big, beautiful, and sometimes messy journey.

Why did I start this blog? Because I have too many stories in my head and too many postcards in my box! If I don't write them down, I think my head might pop!

So, this blog is my storybook.

So, What's Inside My Storybook?

Oh, so many things! Here you will find:

  • Stories of a short, shy girl (that's me!) and her big, monster bike. (VROOM! VROOM!)

  • Little paper windows to far-away places through postcards, and wonderful stories shared in letters from new friends across the globe.

  • Happy (and sometimes silly!) stories from my home with my children.

  • My quiet adventures with thousands of sparkling little diamonds (it’s called diamond painting!).

  • Yummy recipes, some from my own kitchen, and some secret recipes sent in letters from friends all over the world!

  • And you will find little whispers about faith and love, to make our hearts feel warm.

People say I am a mix of two things. A quiet soul who loves a loud engine. A homebody who loves to wander far, far away. I think they are right!

My First Steps

My journey as a writer did not start here. It began in an old "house" that I love very much, my very first digital diary. Even though I have lost the key to that house, the memories are always in my heart. If you want to see where my first steps were, you can visit my First Blog: Mawarjelly.
